Your device freezes or has fatal errors.
Solution:
If your device freezes or hangs, you may need to close programs or reset the device to regain functionality. If your
device is frozen and unresponsive, press and hold the Power key for 8-10 seconds. The device will reboot automatically. If this does not solve the problem, perform a factory data reset. Open the application list and select Settings -> Back up and reset -> Factory data reset -> Reset device -> Erase everything.

The battery does not charge properly or the device turns off.
Solution:
If the battery will no longer charge completely, you need to replace it with a new battery. Take your device to your local Samsung Service Centre.

A connection is not established when you connect the device to a PC.
Solution:
Ensure that the USB cable you are using is compatible with your device.
Ensure that you have the proper drivers installed and updated on your PC.
If you are a Windows XP user, ensure that you have Windows XP Service Pack 3 or higher installed on your PC.
Ensure that you have Samsung Kies 2.0 or Windows Media Player 10 or higher installed on your PC.
